ZERO SETTE

SERVICE INTERIORS

LOCATION EXCEL, LONDON

AREA 5,000 SQ FT

Turning a former tobacco warehouse into a contemporary Italian restaurant was the heart of our brief for Zero Sette. We designed the restaurant layout and interior design scheme for the premises in the London Excel district. The client had a clear wish list: a restaurant with café, central bar, maitre d’ station, private dining and visible wine storage with views into the working kitchen.

Our design complemented the existing building and included an up-and-over walnut structure that divided the restaurant area and café. We designed floating ceiling panels that held the services we needed without concealing the exposed timber structure. Similarly, by varying the floor finishes we were able to segment the café and restaurant dining areas without dividing the space.
